Atty. Perez obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2022. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from University of the Philippines – Manila in 2016.
Outside of practicing law, she has worked as a director of non-government organizations, such as Roots of Health and Fairplay for All Foundation, and as a writer for various print and online media. She was also President of UP OUTlaws, an organization of LGBTQIA+ students of the College of Law of the University of the Philippines.
Atty. Perez is experienced in litigation. Apart from regularly appearing before the courts, she has appeared extensively before special courts such as the Sandiganbayan, and quasi-judicial or regulatory agencies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission. She is versed in handling civil and criminal cases with complex and nuanced legal issues. She also handles cases involving debt collection.
Atty. Perez also has experience in corporate practice and has provided legal assistance and advice on incorporation, structuring, and dissolution of foreign and domestic companies.
