Atty. Daniel Nicholas C. Darvin, MCIArb

Atty. Darvin obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Ateneo de Manila University in 2010. He graduated with Second Honors and ranked 8th in his Class. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from De La Salle University – Dasmariñas in 2006. Before joining the Firm, he was a Senior Associate at Poblador Bautista & Reyes Law Offices, one of the leading litigation firms in the Philippines.

 

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), East Asia Branch. He is also a professor at the Ateneo de Manila School of Law, and gives lectures the Rules of Evidence and other remedial laws.

Atty. Darvin has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution, having practiced before all court levels, including arbitral proceedings. He has handled disputes involving complex, technical, and novel factual and legal issues, and currently heads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practices. Over more than a decade in litigation, Atty. Darvin has handled and resolved disputes involving contracts, building construction, maritime law, real estate law, energy, and intra-corporate issues. He has successfully prosecuted or defended in cases involving commercial fraud and other criminal charges arising from commercial disputes.

Atty. Darvin also regularly gives legal advice to the firm’s retainer clients on employment, contracts, and other legal matters.
